Our Story
Education Planet was founded in 2014. It was established to provide tuition in National Curriculum subjects to both children and adults.
"The creation of Education Planet came to mind when I was asked to tutor a child who was taken out of school to star in a film being produced in Huddersfield, England, my home town. I was offered the position as the child’s tutor and my job was to ensure the child was still receiving a full education."

Since then, we have consistently provided high-quality tuition to students of all ages, grades, and levels with great success. Education Planet has an outstanding track record in teaching and mentoring pupils, helping them gain confidence and grow. We also support colleagues including teaching assistants who are present in every class.
In 2022, Education Planet was awarded the Multiply tender contract with Kirklees Council. We successfully manage this government-funded program, delivering maths skills to the Kirklees area.
Who We Are
At Education Planet all of our tutors are accommodating, versatile, and adept at nurturing individual success. We are dedicated, resourceful and professional educators with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of those in our care. Our tutors and support staff are reliable, very hard-working and have an aptitude to remain flexible in the subject areas and roles they work in. We excel both independently and as part of a team and view teaching as a lifelong learning curve.
We adapt our lessons and teaching methods based on assessment results to effectively meet the needs of our learners. Feedback is crucial in this process, as it helps us determine whether students have understood the material and allows us to refine our approach. By evaluating what students enjoy and dislike, we can adjust our methods and explore different teaching strategies. We rigorously follow a teaching cycle that includes thorough planning, continuous assessment, and ongoing evaluation.
All of our staff are qualified in their subject area and hold the relevant teaching qualifications. They are also DBS certified.
