Film Location Manager - Pica Pictures

Personal Reference: Ms A Foster.

I recently met Ms A Foster on a film project, filming in the North of England, where I was the Location Manager.

Ms A Foster was employed as the tutor for one of the child actors and over a 2 week period, I have to say how much of an impression she made in her conduct and general caring in her role.

She went about the role in a thoughtful and kind manner as well as making his learning fun. The young boy was clearly happy at all times with Ms A Foster and very comfortable in her company. I noticed that whenever he left the set after his little piece of acting, he always headed straight to Ms Foster to chat about what he had done and how he felt about it. I guess that is the ultimate endorsement for her.

I personally spent time with Ms Foster and feel that she could have a very successful career in the media industry helping children with their learning and in fact have been actively encouraging her to do so.

I will continue to support Ms A Foster within the industry as I know how important it is for young children who are on set to be made as comfortable as possible and she excels at this.

My Name is Mr Jarrett. I attended Kirklees College as mature student alongside other learners ages 16+ . Ameeta Foster was our tutor for Functional Skills. We were all there to undertake our level 2 English and or Maths Functional Skills qualifications that formed part of our individual qualifications for our apprenticeship retrospectively.

From minute 1 Ameeta created a relaxed, no pressure, judgement free environment and was always welcoming and approachable, understanding of the importance of this qualification. She was able to pick out specific strengths and weaknesses of each learner whilst recognising each individual takes on board knowledge in different ways with different levels of ability and was able to communicating this effectively through structured, tailored course plans accordingly in number of different ways. This helped me pass my English course.

Ms Foster has worked in the science department on a regular basis, covering teacher absence. She has built good relationships with staff and students and worked closely with support staff.

Although cover work is usually set for these lessons Ms Foster has always been creative in the delivery and always had the students engaged.

She has produced activities for them which are original and interesting and, with Mrs Fosters consent, I have demonstrated to colleagues throughout the local authority and at national events.

GCSE Student 2022

My name is Sharon and I just finished my GCSEs and Ameeta Foster was my tutor. I am exceptionally pleased with the support and guidance I received during the lessons. As a result, my english literature grade increased from a five to and an eight within the very tight timeframe we had. I also received tuition for english language and mathematics.

From the start of our lessons, Ameeta has created a calm and supportive environment that has motivated me to excel academically. She was able to identify my strengths and weakness which helped structure the method of learning which was the most successful for me. Ameeta’s learning style allowed there to be a good flow of listening and communication which is beneficial. This helped excel in my English GCSEs
